What you will be doing

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of RF Test System Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Contribute to the design, integration, and validation of RF test system solutions, ensuring that test and control solutions meet specific project campaign requirements.
  • Support the full lifecycle of test solution development by assisting with formal project reviews, documentation, and reporting on test hardware status to project teams.
  • Gain proficiency in operating specialized test equipment, including Keysight measurement systems for network and spectrum analysis, frequency generation, and modulation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Test System Development Cycle, including test philosophies and the importance of delivering solutions within established quality processes.
  • Acquire hands-on experience with RF hardware products such as amplifiers and converters, learning to interpret test requirements and analyze test results for non-conformance.
  • Engage in a rotational placement within a related department, such as Test Operations or Systems Integration, to broaden your practical experience and understanding of the wider project lifecycle.

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • A relevant degree for an RF Test System Engineer would typically be in one of the following fields:
    • Electronic Engineering
    • Space Systems Engineering
    • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
    • Telecommunications Engineering
    • Physics (with an emphasis on electromagnetics or electronics)
  • For an RF-focused role, degrees that include modules on Radio Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Electromagnetics, or Communication Systems are particularly relevant.
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of other Technical Engineering domains, for example Test Systems or RF or Digital Design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
