About the Role – Digital Business Analyst Consultant

We are seeking experienced professionals across all sectors, with a particular interest in candidates with expertise in:

  • UK Government
  • Energy Transition and Utilities (ET&U)
  • Consumer Products, Retail, and Distribution (CPRD)
  • Financial Services (FS)

Why This Role?

In 2026, our AI & Digital Factory team is expanding and requires skilled consultants to help clients design and deliver AI-enabled products and services. These roles involve:

  • Identifying and prioritising AI and data-driven opportunities
  • Embedding automation and generative AI capabilities into digital products
  • Delivering intelligent, insight-led user experiences
  • Navigating emerging considerations such as data, ethics, and responsible AI use

Our Digital Business Analysts bridge critical gaps between business needs, technology, and data, ensuring solutions deliver user-focused value.

You’ll join a fast-growing, collaborative community driven by:

Key Responsibilities

As an Agile Business Analyst, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with clients to help them understand how, where, and why to adopt new digital and AI-powered technologies/platforms.
  • Advise and design excellent products and services that transform businesses, delivering real client value.
  • Play a pivotal role in end-to-end user-centred design projects, bridging design, product, development, and testing teams.
  • Work within multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum teams, with responsibility for:
    • Understanding user needs
    • Collaborating closely with business partners
    • Translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Stay highly customer-focused, building stakeholder relationships and driving Agile team success through:
    • Analytical thinking
    • Problem-solving
    • Strong communication

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

You will need:

  • Experience in user-centred product or service development projects.
  • Hands-on experience working in multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum teams, covering:
    • Facilitation from research/design through to development and testing.
    • Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards familiarity.
  • ABIIty to:
    • Lead user needs/business requirements translation into user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Balance Agile and traditional waterfall delivery approaches. -서당 within Requirement-capturing methodologies like JIRA.
  • Technical business analysis experience with architectural knowledge, including:
    • Microservices
    • APIs
    • Cloud infrastructure familiarity.
  • Ability to build collaborative stakeholder relationships, manage conflict, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Self-ability to support/lead Scrum ceremonies to ensure team goals delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with:
    • AI support in analysis/design/documentation
    • Ethics, governance, and responsible AI concepts.
