We’re looking for an experienced Agile Coach

We’re looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join a growing digital organisation and take ownership of how projects are delivered across multiple teams.

This is a senior delivery and operational leadership role where you’ll have genuine influence over delivery standards, processes and ways of working across the business.

Rather than managing the day-to-day detail of individual projects, you’ll define how great delivery should work, ensuring teams have the right frameworks, processes and support to deliver consistently.

The Role

You’ll work across multiple cross-functional squads, each responsible for delivering its own projects.

  • Embed within these teams and manage day-to-day delivery.
  • Provide the overarching agile methodology, standards, coaching and operational structure they work within.
  • Provide functional leadership to the wider delivery community, supporting performance, development and progression.
  • Continuously improve delivery capability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the organisation’s Agile delivery methodology and ways of working.
  • Establish consistent delivery standards across multiple squads and projects.
  • Define effective sprint cadences, ceremonies and delivery processes.
  • Coach and support embedded Project Managers through complex delivery challenges.
  • Functionally line-manage and develop Project Managers and wider delivery professionals.
  • Lead 1:1s, performance reviews, goal setting and development planning.
  • Establish strong risk, assumption, issue and dependency management (RAID).
  • Identify and resolve risks, blockers and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Lead capacity planning, resource forecasting and allocation across projects.
  • Monitor delivery performance and report against key delivery KPIs.
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to scope.
  • Continuously improve operational processes while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Build and lead a strong delivery community, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practice.
  • Improve the use of delivery and operational tools such as Jira, Confluence and resource-planning platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve productivity and reduce administration.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and development of delivery professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
