Role: Agile Coach

Location: London, UK (Hybrid 4 days office)

Employment Type: FTE/12 Months

10–15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach leading Agile transformations across multiple teams and programs.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to drive Agile adoption, continuous improvement, and organizational transformation across teams and business units. The Agile Coach will mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership teams, helping them embrace Agile principles, improve delivery effectiveness, and build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Transformation & Coaching

  • Lead Agile transformation initiatives across teams, programs, and business units.
  • Coach teams on Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, XP, and DevOps practices.
  • Assess Agile maturity and develop improvement roadmaps.
  • Facilitate organizational change and foster an Agile mindset.

Team Coaching

  • Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Help teams improve planning, estimation, backlog management, and delivery predictability.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and remove organizational impediments.
  • Promote self-organizing, high-performing teams.

Leadership Coaching

  • Partner with executives and senior stakeholders to align Agile practices with business objectives.
  • Guide leadership teams in adopting servant leadership principles.
  • Support strategic planning and Agile portfolio management.

Process Improvement

  • Define and implement Agile best practices, standards, and governance mechanisms.
  • Analyze Agile metrics and recommend improvement actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and value stream analysis.
  • Improve team productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Facilitation

  • Facilitate Agile events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Lead Agile maturity assessments and transformation workshops.
  • Conduct stakeholder alignment sessions and executive briefings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Agile Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, and Agile scaling frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile transformation programs in large enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar platforms.
  • Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and product delivery practices.

  • Strong mentoring, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence leaders and teams at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
  • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, ICP-ENT)
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • SAFe Agilist (SA)
  • PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certification

Desired Experience

  • Experience coaching distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading Agile transformations in enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to product-centric operating models and digital transformation programs.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and leadership teams.
