Agile Coach / SAFe Delivery Lead
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Northampton (2 days per week) and London (1 day per week)
Contract: 6 months initial
Rate: Competitive Day Rate Via Rockford Payroll
Level: Vice president level
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Agile at Scale professional with strong experience coaching and implementing Agile in complex enterprise environments, ideally within banking. The successful candidate will have deep SAFe expertise, a proven track record of leading or supporting SAFe implementations, and the ability to operate confidently across multiple portfolios spanning London and the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support Agile at scale adoption across two portfolios.
- Lead or support SAFe implementation activities in a banking environment.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to align delivery priorities and drive momentum.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
- Support teams in adopting Agile ways of working and improving delivery outcomes.
- Provide practical guidance, facilitation, and coaching to help teams and leaders embrace change.
- Operate across geographically distributed stakeholders in London and the US.
- Help shape and progress portfolio agendas while maintaining stakeholder confidence and engagement.

Required Experience
- Strong experience coaching and implementing Agile at scale.
- Hands-on experience working in a SAFe environment.
- Relevant SAFe certifications.
- Previous experience leading or supporting SAFe implementations.
- Experience working in the Banking sector.
- Ability to clearly articulate prior experience and demonstrate impact using practical examples.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
- Ability to engage confidently with both business and technology audiences.

Desirable Experience
- Consumer Risk knowledge.
- Experience in Consumer Risk, Risk Finance, or Treasury.
- Experience operating across multiple portfolios or business areas.
