About the role

We are looking to hire an Agile Delivery Manager to join our Technology team. The Agile Delivery Manager will be embedded in our World Class Shopping community which formerly comprised of two squads that’ve now merged. The role’s main focuses will be to enable the team to collaborate and harness best practices to work well as a unit, in addition to working with a wide range of other teams such as digital, product, digital product design and third parties to deliver key roadmap initiatives.

As Agile Delivery Manager you will

  • Define & embed the right fit of practices, tools and techniques from Scrum, Lean & Kanban to help the squads work more efficiently.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies as appropriate, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Retrospective and Backlog Refinement.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices that will progress ways of working across teams.
  • Ensure teams collaborate, communicate, and focus on what is most important.
  • Coach team members on the most appropriate agile techniques and approaches.
  • Work closely with Product to prioritise work through the backlog.
  • Where appropriate implement the appropriate scrum of scrums to support multiple delivery streams.
  • Work closely with teams across the business to co-ordinate the delivery of key roadmap initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to align & coordinate teams.
  • Proactively manage dependencies and remove blockers to get the best value against constraints.
  • Define clear project plans and regularly update on progress and key risks to the wider Charlotte Tilbury business and senior stakeholders as the delivery of a project moves forward.
  • Participate in the Delivery community to share knowledge and best practices.

Who will you work with

Head of Delivery, Tech and Systems team

About you

  • Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager.
  • A recognised Scrum Master certification.
  • A recognised Project Management Qualification is a bonus.
  • Broad knowledge of Agile Frameworks and techniques e.g., Scrum, Scaled Agile, Kanban, writing and breaking down user stories, relative estimation.
  • Proficient coaching & facilitation skills.
  • Able to maintain, influence and motivate a team.
  • Outstanding skills and knowledge of servant leadership, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Able to ensure the team is transparent and that the work is understood externally.
  • Able to create an open and collaborative environment to work in, be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn.
  • Capable of managing and communicating work, risks, and dependencies across teams.
  • Able to navigate and negotiate around obstacles, does not shy away from difficult conversations.
  • Experience in working on multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to workload. Anticipating problems and head them off before they compromise deadlines.
  • Good understanding and experience of retail environments.
  • Strong experience of agile & delivery tooling e.g., JIRA, Figma, Mural, Monday.com etc.
