The Role

We are looking for an Agile Project Manager for SaySo on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will own the planning and delivery of our design and development work during a pivotal six months for the product. Reporting to the Head of Product and based in the UK, you will work closely with our designers, in-house engineers, and external development partner to make sure the right things get built, in the right order and on time. You will look ahead to what we need to build now to launch a feature two months from now, and set that work in motion.

About SaySo

SaySo is one of the newest brands in the Caliber family. It’s a UGC news and information app where vetted independent journalists and subject-matter experts share curated, trustworthy content, and personalization controls let users shape their own feed. SaySo is live on iOS, and over the next six months, our roadmap includes launching monetization and Android, growing our creator community, and shipping new features focused on retention and finding product-market fit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We value candor, curiosity, courage, and commitment.

The Role Will Include

Planning and Delivery

  • Turn the product roadmap into a dated delivery plan, with milestones, dependencies, and risks mapped out.
  • Run sprint ceremonies – sprint goals, prioritization, capacity planning, kick-offs, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives – and track velocity from sprint to sprint.
  • Set and hold deadlines, manage development assignments, and keep design and development moving in step.
  • Take part in regular roadmapping and product strategy sessions with product, design, and lead developers.

Design and Engineering Handoffs

  • Review design work against the brief before it reaches engineering, flagging any missing states, annotations, or edge cases.
  • Break features down into sprint-sized user stories, with clear, testable acceptance criteria that cover edge cases and error states, not just the happy path.
  • Groom and prioritize the backlog with the Head of Product at least once per sprint.

Releases and Ways of Working

  • Coordinate each app release, including release checklists, TestFlight (and later Play Store) testing rounds, and go/no-go reviews.
  • Review how we currently run sprints, design, development, and our Asana boards, and put improvements in place.
  • Keep Asana accurate and up-to-date, so anyone in the business can see where things stand without asking.

About You

  • Delivery Experience: You bring technical project management, delivery management, or Scrum master roles, and you have helped ship consumer mobile apps on iOS and Android.
  • Technical Fluency: You are comfortable reading technical specs, talking through API integrations and trade-offs with engineers, and you know the App Store and Play Store release process, including TestFlight and staged rollouts.
  • Eye for Design: You can tell when a Figma file is ready for development, and when it is still missing states, annotations, or edge cases.
  • Clear Story Writing: You write tickets that engineers can pick up and build from – sprint-sized, testable, and with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Organized and Detail-minded: You are fluent in Asana or a similar tool, and you keep things on track in a fast-moving environment.
  • Big-picture Thinking: You enjoy strategizing with the product team, solving problems as they come up, and keeping everyone aligned on where we are heading.
