Are you an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a strong background in delivering IT infrastructure within highly secure Defence environments?
Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence & Security sector is looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join a significant Defence technology programme, supporting the delivery and integration of secure, mission-critical IT infrastructure.
You will work closely with technical delivery teams, Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects and customer stakeholders to embed effective Agile ways of working, remove delivery blockers and ensure teams remain focused on priorities, dependencies and successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
- Support infrastructure and technical teams in planning, prioritising and delivering work across Agile sprints and delivery increments.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers and technical leads to manage priorities, dependencies, risks and blockers.
- Coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary infrastructure teams, including engineering, architecture, networking, platforms, security and service functions.
- Track sprint progress, capacity and delivery commitments, providing clear reporting and visibility to programme and customer stakeholders.
- Coach teams in Agile ways of working, driving continuous improvement and helping create a collaborative, high-performing delivery environment.

What you'll bring:
- Active MoD Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential.
- Strong experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery professional within complex technical programmes.
- Demonstrable experience delivering within an IT infrastructure environment, with an understanding of areas such as networks, servers, platforms, cloud, virtualisation or infrastructure services.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience applying them pragmatically within complex and highly governed environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with the confidence to manage blockers, challenge constructively and drive delivery forward.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
