Agricultural Property Solicitor, 3+ PQE, London, GBP 90:100,000 DOE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join a highly regarded Landed Estates and Agriculture team within a leading central London firm. With a strong focus on high-quality client work and opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, the role offers excellent long-term career progression, including a clear pathway towards Legal Director and Partnership for the right candidate.

The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of rural property matters, with work spanning acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land and estates, country houses and rural properties, easements, first registrations, and ongoing estate management.
- Advise on agricultural tenancies, planning matters, succession, and generational change
- Reorganisation of farming businesses and the diversification of rural landholdings, including renewable energy, mineral leases, and emerging natural capital opportunities
- Collaboration with the firm's Private Client and Tax teams to provide joined-up advice
You will have the opportunity to manage transactions with a high degree of autonomy, supervise junior team members, and play an active role in developing the firm's Landed Estates practice through client relationship management, networking, articles, and events.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 3+ years' PQE and a background in rural or agricultural property. You will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage transactions with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience or keen interest in agricultural tenancies, unregistered land, manorial rights, environmental policy, and wider rural property matters would be advantageous
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Ability to supervise and support junior colleagues
- Proactive approach to business development and developing relationships with clients and professional referrers
