Gammies Groundcare Forfar (Part of A. M. Phillip) is recruiting for an Agricultural Welder & Fabricator
Location: Gammies Groundcare Ltd, Station Yard, Carseview Road, Forfar, Angus, DD8 3BT
Start date: Immediate Start Available
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, alternate Saturdays 8:00 am – 12.00 pm
Pay: From £37,500 per annum DOE
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to join our workshop, working on a range of projects.
From fabricating parts, welding, repairs and modifications to agricultural and ground care equipment and custom builds, you will have your own blacksmithing station and be involved in all aspects of fabrication.

The person
Essential Experience/Skills
- Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Confident working on a variety of machinery and tasks
- Experience working in a workshop and familiar with health and safety compliance
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred But Not Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with repair/welding/fabrication of agricultural and ground care machinery

We specialise in supplying Horticultural and Agricultural Machinery, Spare Parts, Accessories, and Service to fulfil our customers’ requirements. Giving advice and making sure you have the right machine for the task you require is our prime aim, and should a visit to our premises be required to do this – “No Problem”.
