We have a fantastic opportunity for an Agriculture and Rural Network Claims Technician in Shrewsbury.

As a Claims Technician in our Agriculture and Rural Network (ARN) team, you will manage claims from the initial report through to settlement. You will take ownership of each claim, making decisions and working closely with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to find the best outcome for the customer.

You will benefit from access to advanced digital tools, including video technology, which will help you assess properties remotely and collaborate with suppliers during the claims process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Being the single point of contact for customers and suppliers
  • Managing claims and related information
  • Overseeing supplier projects
  • Controlling costs and payments

You will be expected to deliver high technical standards while keeping the customer experience at the forefront.

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, self-motivated, and well-organized. You should be flexible, open to change, and enthusiastic about using industry-leading technology.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Experience in managing claims across multiple clients: Previous experience in a claims environment is essential. This can be from any type of insurance property claims.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will interact with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all parties involved.
  • Qualifications: Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is an advantage but not essential.
