Contract: Starting July 2027, 13-month Fixed Term Contract
Hours/Shift Pattern: 9:00-17:00; Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:
As an Agriculture Intern, you'll support the Agriculture team in delivering key initiatives across Müller’s supplier network. Working closely with Agriculture and Sustainability colleagues, you'll gain hands-on experience of the dairy supply chain, supporting farmer engagement, sustainability programmes and supply chain projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical knowledge of dairy production, agricultural sustainability and the operations of one of the UK's leading dairy businesses.
Key tasks & responsibilities include:
- Develop an understanding of Müller's milk supply network while supporting the Agriculture team in managing relationships with supplying farmers.
- Help deliver farmer engagement activities, including communications, events and on-farm initiatives.
- Generate insights from farm and supply chain data to support decision-making, business reporting and customer requests.
- Support the delivery of key agriculture, sustainability and customer programmes across the dairy supply chain.
- Assist with the monitoring and reporting of sustainability metrics, helping track progress against business and customer commitments.
- Contribute to supplier programmes focused on areas such as animal welfare, environmental management and farm resilience.
- Work collaboratively with Agriculture, Sustainability and Commercial teams to deliver projects that create value for farmers, customers and the wider business.

What we're looking for:
Müller are looking for confident students with a passion for food, farming and the environment for this 13-month placement. We’re seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a year-in-industry opportunity.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with teams at all levels, from operators to senior management.
- Self-Starter Attitude: Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities and challenges can change rapidly.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to anticipate issues and deliver innovative solutions.
- Data & Analytical Skills: Confidence working with data, with the ability to organise information, identify trends and present insights clearly.
- Agriculture Knowledge: A genuine interest in dairy farming, agricultural supply chains and sustainability within the food and farming sector.
- Education: Studying towards a degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Animal Science, Food Production, Geography, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- UK Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license for at least one year.
- UK Residency: Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
