Position: Agriculture Service Technician
Location: Western Australia
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Type: On Site
Must have:
- Case IH
- Worked on broad-acre (wheat) farming
Candidates must be open to visa sponsorship, with related expenses to be borne by the applicant- approx AUD $6300.
About the Role
Skills require true all-rounders who have technical experience in Agricultural equipment. Must be flexible in working across several fields with responsibility for Case IH Tractors, Combine Harvesters, process sprayers and self-propelled sprayers, providing timely:
- Hourly Servicing
- Diagnosis & Repair
- Pre-Season equipment checks and reports
- Modifications & Upgrades
- Component Change Outs
- New Build Assembly
- New machine setup and client training
- Overhaul and rebuild
Main responsibilities will cover the following areas:
- Customer Service and relationship management including:
- Pre-delivery of new machinery including set up
- Advising farmers on technology and operation of new machinery
- Providing clients with diagnostic advice and repairs
- Liaising with Case IH service staff on factory requirements
- Managing assembly, overhaul and rebuilds of new and used equipment

Must have worked on broad acre (wheat) farming with the new series of harvester header fronts and large seeding equipment.
- Managing and scheduling mechanical work for workshop and field service crew
- Technical advice for workshop staff including EST and warranty management
- Writing up and managing quotes for service, repair, overhauls and warranty
- Scheduling pre-season equipment services and checks – seeding & harvesting
- Liaising with in-house parts department for parts procurement, quotes and invoicing.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who has at least 10 years' experience in a Dealership.
Ideally, candidates must have Agricultural industry exposure as a Senior Service Technician or be able to move into the role quickly. Candidate must possess a trade in either of the following;
- Ag Fitting,
- HD Fitting
- Diesel Fitting
- Mechanical Fitting
- Auto Electrical

To be successful, candidates will:
- Be organised, able to cope with tight deadlines, and able to multitask workloads
- Possess technical knowledge to quickly diagnose mechanical faults
- Estimate requirements for jobs regarding parts and time frames
- Focus on customer service with a high level of professionalism
- Be proficient with the dealer management system for parts and scheduling of work
- Use electronic service tools for diagnostics.
A valid driver’s license is also essential.
Remuneration
A highly competitive package is available, which will include the base hourly rate and superannuation, assistance with relocation/housing, visa sponsorship, a vehicle and other tools available for the right candidate.
