Agrochemical Analytical Chemist

NW England

Our NW based client is actively looking to recruit an Agrochemical Analytical Chemist to perform analyses on a range of pesticide, herbicide and other crop protection products, using a range of analytical techniques.

Duties for this position will include:-

  • Developing and validating specific methods of analysis using LC-MS, GC-MS and other MS systems
  • Understanding agrochemical formulations including small molecule and protein based compounds, performing resultant chemical characterization on both
  • Ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with H&S and Quality
  • Instrument trouble shooting

Applicants should have considerable analytical chemistry experience specifically with agrochemical / crop protection compounds with proven method development and validation experience
