Mission
Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.
Role Purpose
Neko is moving from teaching people to build with AI to reinventing its largest workflows, aiming for step changes and not 10% gains (Chase 10X, not 10%). The AI Acceleration Specialist is a consultant builder who works with teams across Neko: they build the thing, teach the team to build it, or design the solution and hand it over. The role helps run the internal product development lifecycle (discovery, building, distribution, adoption, iteration) and is judged on adoption, not on building (Impact, not activity). The longer-term aim is an embedded AI builder in each team, as the People team already has.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 Months
- Fluency in the internal product development lifecycle, applied in every engagement without step-by-step direction.
- Workflows you own from discovery to adoption stay in use. Success is adoption, not building, with tracking in place from the start. The target figure depends on the size of each build and is still to be set. (Impact, not activity)
- Consulting engagement, tracked: how many one-to-ones and team sessions helped others learn or unblock. (Tech-enabled, human-centred)
- At least two high-value workflows mapped and redesigned with the teams that own them, with a before-and-after in hours or money agreed with the owner. (Chase 10X, not 10%)
- AI Acceleration's own intake and tracking running with less manual coordination, owned end to end within a defined remit.

Minimum Qualifications
- One to three examples of taking a business problem, listening to it, and building and deploying a solution, with at least one owned end to end on moderate complexity and limited guidance. Internships, early roles and strong projects count.
- High trainability and a growth mindset: learns fast and applies it without being asked.
- Process mapping, or visible willingness to learn it quickly. A short course is available.
- Working familiarity with applied AI: large language models, context, retrieval, agents, connectors and evaluation.
- A bias toward adoption: goes back, watches the team work with it, and helps work out what is not landing.
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in GTM engineering, solutions consulting or AI operations.
- Empathy and a supportive instinct: can teach non-engineers and stay with a team through a build.
- An interest in systems: sees AI Acceleration as itself a workflow worth improving.
