AI Adoption Consultant | Healthcare | London (1 day per week) | Outside IR35
£800 - £1000 per day | 9 month contract
A healthcare business is looking for an AI Adoption Consultant to help shape what work looks like in an AI-enabled organisation - and turn that vision into reality.
This is a hands-on, organisation wide role for someone who understands that successful AI adoption is about much more than introducing new tools. The opportunity is to rethink how teams work, redesign workflows, build new capabilities and demonstrate measurable improvements in quality, speed and capacity.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, technology, learning and development, and teams across the organisation to identify where AI can fundamentally change the way work gets done.
What you’ll do
- Develop a practical vision for how an AI-enabled healthcare organisation should operate.
- Work with teams across the business to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for meaningful AI-led redesign.
- Challenge teams to look beyond using AI as an assistant and explore entirely new ways of working.
- Turn ideas into practical experiments, prototypes and new workflows, using the AI capabilities available today.
- Measure the impact of experiments across areas such as quality, efficiency, throughput, capacity and user experience.
- Translate future workflows into clear technology and capability requirements, working closely with technical colleagues on feasibility, security, privacy and architecture.
- Build and maintain a prioritised roadmap for future AI capabilities.
- Develop AI capability across the organisation through workshops, coaching, demonstrations, clinics and hands-on sessions.
- Create practical guidance, templates and reusable workflows, and help establish internal AI champions and communities of practice.
- Lead a cross-functional AI Council, helping shape AI adoption, policy and the implications for teams, roles and careers.
- Work with senior leaders to consider how AI could change the operating model of their functions - not simply make individual employees more productive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
