AI Adoption Lead

£60,000 - £75,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Location: Central London / Hybrid
Reporting to: Head of Knowledge & Innovation

An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced AI Adoption Lead to drive the successful adoption, embedding and effective use of artificial intelligence across its legal and business services teams.

This is a people-focused role, centred on helping colleagues embrace AI-enabled ways of working, maximise the value of tools such as Microsoft Copilot and leading legal technology platforms, and integrate AI into everyday processes.

Working closely with lawyers, business services professionals, technology teams and senior leadership, the AI Adoption Lead will play a key role in shaping the firm's AI adoption strategy, delivering engaging training and workshops, and championing responsible and effective AI use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the firm's AI adoption and change management strategy, aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive engagement and meaningful usage of AI tools, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery.
  • Design and deliver tailored training sessions, workshops, demonstrations and learning resources.
  • Develop practical AI use cases, prompting guidance and best practice materials for different teams and user groups.
  • Build and maintain a network of AI champions and early adopters to encourage knowledge sharing and consistent adoption.
  • Partner with practice groups, business services and technology teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and process improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues, helping them understand AI's capabilities, limitations, risks and practical applications.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, gather feedback and identify barriers to adoption, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and maintenance of AI governance frameworks, ensuring responsible, secure and compliant use of AI.
  • Keep up to date with developments in generative AI, legal technology and professional services innovation.
  • Provide leadership with insight into AI adoption, engagement and opportunities for future investment.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading technology adoption, change management, learning, innovation or digital transformation initiatives within professional services.
  • Practical experience with generative AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 AI capabilities.
  • Knowledge of legal technology platforms such as CoCounsel, Protégé and Legora a plus but not essential.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering training, workshops and user engagement programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management, organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience embedding new ways of working and driving behavioural change.
  • Ability to analyse feedback, identify trends and translate insights into meaningful actions.
