AI Analyst | Global Commodity Trading | Permanent | Hybrid
A leading global commodities firm is looking for an AI Analyst to join their Data & AI team, helping their technology and commercial teams make better use of AI across existing E/CTRM workflows and automate manual processes.
This is a hands-on AI workflow and enablement role, working closely with business stakeholders to identify where AI can add value, develop practical solutions, and help teams adopt new AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify E/CTRM workflows where AI and automation can improve efficiency, analysis, and decision-making
- Translate business requirements into practical AI workflows, agents, and automations
- Design and refine prompts, AI context, and agent logic
- Support AI use cases across reporting, forecasting, analysis, research, and knowledge management
- Test and evaluate AI outputs to ensure they are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose
- Work closely with technology and commercial stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Create documentation and guidance to support the wider adoption of AI

What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in Energy, Commodities, Trading, Finance, CTRM, Data, Technology, or a similar environment
- Practical experience using GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, or workflow automation
- A good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into practical AI solutions
- Comfortable working with structured data and analytics
- Python, SQL, or scripting experience would be beneficial
- Exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar AI platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
