About the role
Silver Cloud is growing, and we’re ready to take our AI ambitions to the next level. We’re looking for a curious, hands-on AI & Automation Executive to help us turn emerging technology into practical, measurable improvements across our business. This is an exciting early-career role for someone who loves experimenting, learning and pushing boundaries.
You’ll work across our consulting practices and central functions to spot opportunities, build prototypes, test ideas and help colleagues use AI confidently and responsibly. You’ll become our developing internal AI subject-matter expert - bringing challenge, insight and fresh thinking into how we operate, deliver projects and support clients.
If you’re passionate about AI and want to shape how a fast-growing consultancy adopts it, this is your chance.
What you’ll do
- Support the development and delivery of Silver Cloud’s AI strategy and roadmap.
- Build a deep understanding of our services, methodologies and internal processes.
- Identify manual, repetitive or inefficient activities that could benefit from AI or automation.
- Research emerging AI tools, trends and practices, bringing new ideas into the business.
- Maintain a prioritised pipeline of AI opportunities based on value, feasibility and risk.
- Translate opportunities into experiments, pilots and practical implementation plans.
- Develop and test AI-enabled solutions using generative AI, automation, data and low-code tools.
- Gather requirements, test prototypes and incorporate user feedback.
- Evaluate pilot outcomes and recommend whether to scale, refine or stop solutions.
- Create prompt libraries, user guides, playbooks and practical resources for colleagues.
- Deliver demonstrations, workshops and hands-on support to build confidence and capability.
- Support responsible AI governance, ensuring data protection, security and ethics are embedded.
- Track and report on the time, cost, quality and business benefits delivered through AI initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
