Make your mark for patients

We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence and Data Capability Lead who is practical, collaborative, and outcome-oriented to join our Transformation team, named Ruby, based in the United States or in Europe: Either in our headquarters in Belgium or in UK, Slough.

About the role

You will build the practical artificial intelligence and data literacy that enables teams to use data and emerging technologies confidently, responsibly, and effectively in their daily work. You will translate expectations into role-specific learning, practical guidance, and supported application within real business workflows. This business-facing role focuses on helping people understand, evaluate, and use data and artificial intelligence in practice. You will also challenge teams to rethink how their processes can evolve, while ensuring appropriate human judgment, verification, and measurable business value.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that operates across the Patient Evidence organisation, within Data Products Operations. You will collaborate with business leaders, portfolio and product leads, business analysts, subject matter experts, data and technology teams, and partners in learning, change, communications, privacy, and compliance. Together, you will connect learning to priority business questions, available data products, and technology-enabled capabilities, while building confidence and encouraging responsible, evidence-based use.

What you’ll do

  • Define and maintain an artificial intelligence and data literacy framework aligned with business roles, decisions, and workflows.
  • Assess capability needs, identify priority audiences, and address learning gaps and barriers to adoption.
  • Translate complex data, analytics, governance, and artificial intelligence concepts into clear, practical business language.
  • Design role-based learning paths, playbooks, examples, working sessions, and reusable learning resources.
  • Embed learning into real business questions, data products, and technology-enabled workflows.
  • Build understanding of data meaning, origin, quality, limitations, and suitability for purpose.
  • Promote responsible use through human oversight, output verification, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Measure proficiency, application, confidence, adoption, and business impact, using feedback to continuously improve learning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
