AI and Data Technical Trainer

Location: London - hybrid (Ideally 2 days in the office)
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 + bonus

About the Role

Our client is looking for someone who has spent years in data engineering or technical consultancy and has reached a point where the part they love most is bringing other people along for the ride. They are a growing AI and data practice delivering commercial training programmes on some of the most in-demand technologies in the market, including Starburst, Dell Data Lakehouse, and Data Warehousing architectures. If you don't have experience with Starburst, they are open to seeing candidates with just Lakehouse experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading facilitator-driven learning experiences across a range of audiences, from hands-on data engineers to non-technical business leaders making buying decisions, ensuring every single person in the session leaves feeling like it was worth their time and their organisation's money.
  • Refining and contributing to course content alongside delivery.
  • Supporting prospecting conversations and client-facing workshops, working cross-functionally with advisory and delivery teams.

The Kind of Person We’re Looking for

  • A solid technical foundation in data engineering, distributed systems, or data platform architecture.
  • The ability to quickly learn and explain complex concepts, such as query engines, to those who may be unfamiliar.
  • Experience in technical work with a desire to transition into a people-focused role.
