What difference will you make?
As AI and IT Adviser you will be well placed to influence our development as a health think tank – helping us make better use of technology to develop as an organisation, while hopefully also influencing wider thinking on the implications of AI for the nation’s health.
What are we looking for?
We'd like to hear from you if you have
- At least 3 years AI and IT-related experience in the UK
- A relevant postgraduate qualification
- Evidence of using AI and/or IT to support health research and/or improve organisational effectiveness
- An interest in the long-term implications of AI for the nation’s health

What will you be doing?
Our guiding principle is that prevention is better than cure.
As a health think tank we have a track record of providing fresh thinking on health issues from Young People’s Mental Health to Covid, from Obesity to how best to encourage Physical Activity.

We have also acted as a catalyst to research with university partners on topics from Health Behaviour Change to Student Mental Health.
An area we’ve recently been researching is the potential impact of AI on Mental Health – from social media algorithms and technostress to the impact on employment. So, this is an area where we would welcome informed support.
We’re also interested in how AI might help us operate more efficiently and effectively, from research to recruitment, which is where your AI and IT experience can also make a significant contribution to our work.
