AI Application Consultant - Scottish Power

Summary

  • Hybrid Role
  • Competitive rate umbrella or PAYE
  • Initial 12-month contract
  • Glasgow based

The post holder is accountable for delivering rapid, practical AI solutions aligned to business needs, working closely with stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and deliver measurable value.

Expectations

  • Propose, plan, coordinate and deliver AI applications with full ownership of scope, timeline, cost, and quality
  • Deliver rapid AI solutions from problem definition through to operational deployment
  • Design, develop, and deploy practical AI solutions focused on real business challenges
  • Support knowledge sharing and capability building
  • Engage directly with SPT Connections teams to identify and solve business challenges
  • Translate technical outputs into simple, usable solutions

  • Strong experience in AI, analytics, automation, or digital solution delivery
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and deploy practical solutions
  • Strong project delivery capability
  • Knowledge of technologies and common packaged platform/systems (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) are beneficial
  • Degree in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience delivering technical solutions in a business environment
