Digitex Technologies is a fast-growing digital agency delivering SEO, web development, CRM, hosting, and digital marketing solutions across the UK and internationally. As part of our continued growth in AI, software, and application development, we are looking for a talented AI Application Designer to join our team in Dagenham.
Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Application Designer to design AI-enabled applications and other digital products as part of our AI, software development, application development, and UI/UX services. This role is focused specifically on application design, interfaces and user experience, working closely with our software and technical teams who handle development and implementation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design AI-enabled and other digital applications based on business, client and user requirements
- Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes
- Design application interfaces, layouts and structures for web, mobile and software applications
- Translate client, business and technical requirements into practical application designs and design specifications
- Work closely with software developers, AI specialists and other technical team members to ensure designs can be implemented effectively
- Review application usability, accessibility and overall user experience
- Improve and update application designs based on user feedback, client requirements and changes in functionality

The role is specifically focused on application design, interfaces and user experience, while the company's software and technical teams are responsible for software development and technical implementation. The Employee may also undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the nature and level of the AI Application Designer position.
🛠️ Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge of application design and UI/UX
- Ability to create user journeys, wireframes and prototypes
- Experience designing application interfaces and layouts
- Understanding of user-centred and responsive design
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical designs
- Understanding of usability and accessibility principles
- Ability to work effectively with software developers, AI specialists and technical teams
- Familiarity with professional application-design and prototyping tools

A relevant degree, professional qualification or appropriate professional experience in application design, UI/UX, digital design, web design, computing or a related field would be suitable. The selected candidate's qualifications, skills and experience will be assessed against these requirements before employment commences.
💼 What We Offer
- 💰 £43,800 gross per annum, paid monthly via BACS
- 🏖️ 28 days paid annual leave per year (inclusive of public/bank holidays)
- 📍 Based at our Dagenham office, with occasional travel to client sites, meetings, or training as required
