🚀 Applied AI Engineer | UK / Europe | Fully Remote | 7+ Positions
We are working with a fast-growing UK technology company that is hiring multiple Applied AI Engineers to build and scale the AI infrastructure behind its property-management platform.
This is not a traditional ML or Data Science role. They’re looking for strong backend/software engineers who have hands-on experience building and shipping LLM and agentic AI systems into production.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and scale production-grade LLM and agentic AI systems
- Develop multi-step agents, sub-agent orchestration and tool use
- Build structured outputs and reusable AI workflows
- Develop evaluation frameworks and feedback loops
- Improve AI systems across latency, reliability, cost and hallucination rates
- Help scale AI infrastructure as the business continues to grow
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify and own new initiatives
- Have significant influence over architecture and how AI systems are built

What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend engineering background
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/agentic systems in production
- Experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, task decomposition and structured outputs
- Strong understanding of production challenges around evaluation, reliability, latency and cost
- Python experience
- TypeScript/Node.js experience
- PostgreSQL experience
- CS or related technical degree
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of ownership
