AI Architect at EPAM
As an AI Architect at EPAM, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering advanced AI solutions for our clients, as well as supporting pre-sales activities to drive new business opportunities. We are seeking a visionary leader with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI, especially Agents, models into production environments.
While experience with Azure cloud is preferred, deep expertise in AI and machine learning is our top priority. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and innovative AI-driven systems that drive business value, and partner with sales and account teams to shape proposals and solution strategies for prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture and implementation of AI and agentic solutions from concept to production
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions
- Support pre-sales activities, including client workshops, technical presentations, solution scoping and proposal development
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML and agent frameworks, tools and platforms to meet project requirements
- Guide teams in best practices for model development, deployment and monitoring in production environments
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and compliant with industry standards
- Mentor and support engineering teams in AI/ML methodologies and technologies
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, GenAI and cloud technologies
- Contribute to proposals, client presentations and thought leadership within the AI domain
- Partner with sales and account teams to identify and qualify AI opportunities and help shape winning solutions for clients

Requirements
- Proven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML and Agentic solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI in production environments
- Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Langchain, Semantic Kernel/Agents Framework, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face with a preference for Agentic frameworks) and model lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also considered)
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages commonly used in AI/ML
- Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, CI/CD for AI, Evaluation Driven Development and model monitoring in production
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including technical solutioning and proposal development, is highly desirable
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus
