AI & Automation Engineer

Location: Worcester
Job Type: Permanent
Working: Hybrid
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We're working with an established global business looking to appoint an AI & Automation Engineer to develop and deliver practical AI and automation solutions across the organisation.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys building solutions, not just exploring what AI can do.

You'll work on projects that involve developing AI-powered applications, automating business processes, and integrating new technologies with existing systems. The focus is on taking solutions from initial concept through to successful deployment in a live business environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using Python and modern AI technologies.
  • Build solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  • Develop intelligent assistants, automated workflows, and applications that improve business processes.
  • Integrate AI solutions with existing applications, databases, and enterprise systems using APIs.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI and automation can deliver measurable improvements.
  • Take ownership of technical development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and reliable for production use.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical approaches to solving business challenges.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
