Job Title: AI Automation Tester

Location: London (Hybrid, Minimum 2 Days Onsite per Week)

Contract Length: 12 Months

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Rate: Negotiable

We are currently recruiting for multiple AI Automation Tester positions to support a major client programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile AI initiative, helping to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge AI-powered solutions.

Working as part of a collaborative delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated testing across the AI solution landscape, covering both traditional software testing and AI-specific validation activities.

The Role

As an AI Automation Tester, you will play a key role in validating AI-driven applications and services, ensuring they meet functional, performance, integration, and quality standards. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated testing frameworks while evaluating AI responses and behaviours to ensure consistent and reliable outcomes.

You will work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to support the successful delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test strategies for AI-powered applications.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Validate AI-generated responses, outputs, and behaviours against defined requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
  • Support API testing and integration validation across complex systems.
  • Manage test data and ensure effective test coverage across the solution lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
  • Contribute to continuous testing practices within an agile delivery environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience executing functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions.
  • Experience evaluating AI responses and validating AI-driven functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary agile teams.
