AI Business Analyst / AI Engineer

Salary: £60,000 + 10-20% Bonus

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days p/w in London

We're supporting a well-known consumer brand that is making significant investment in AI, automation and the future of work.

This is a newly created opportunity within a growing AI function, focused on identifying, building and scaling practical AI solutions that drive real business impact across multiple business areas.

The Opportunity:

This isn't a traditional Business Analyst role.

You'll sit at the intersection of AI, technology and business transformation, helping identify opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation whilst remaining hands-on with modern AI tools and platforms.

You'll work as part of a newly formed AI pod, helping design, build and deploy AI-powered workflows, agents and proof-of-concepts, whilst supporting governance, adoption and business enablement.

This role would suit someone from an AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Power Platform or Technology Consulting background who enjoys working with stakeholders but doesn't want to move away from technology entirely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build AI agents, prototypes and proof-of-concepts using modern AI platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI, automation and intelligent workflows
  • Work with engineers and business stakeholders to shape AI use cases from concept through to delivery
  • Support AI governance, adoption, training and best practice across the organisation
  • Help define success measures, track ROI and establish scalable ways of working for AI initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and translate business challenges into practical AI solutions

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with AI tools such as Microsoft Co-pilot Studio, Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms
  • Some hands-on technical capability, ideally with Python
  • Exposure to building AI agents, co-pilots, automations or Gen-AI proof-of-concepts
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • An interest in AI governance, adoption and change management
  • Experience with Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry or MCP connectors would be advantageous
