The role
You will work across multiple business functions to:
- Identify and prioritise high-value AI and automation opportunities
- Map current processes and design future-state, AI-enabled workflows
- Translate business challenges into AI use cases, requirements, user stories and success measures
- Work closely with Engineers, Data, Security and business teams to develop safe, scalable AI solutions
- Support POCs, pilots and rollouts, including testing, acceptance criteria and business readiness
- Help drive change, training and adoption of new AI-enabled ways of working
- Track benefits including productivity, cost savings, adoption and AI/token usage
- Develop reusable prompt libraries, AI workflows, templates and best-practice materials

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
You will have hands on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Power Apps or Azure AI Services, alongside a good understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation and responsible AI.
Experience with process mapping/BPMN, requirements gathering, user stories, change management and technology delivery will be important, as will the ability to work confidently with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
This is a great opportunity for a BA who has moved beyond simply using AI tools and understands how to embed AI into real business processes and ways of working.
