Role: AI Business Analyst

Programme: AI Transformation

Industry: Financial Markets

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week)

Contract: 6 months initially, with a multi-year roadmap

Rate: £700–800/day inside IR35

X4 Technology are working with a leading financial markets organisation investing heavily in AI as part of a major transformation programme. They are looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst to help identify, shape and deliver AI-enabled products across the trading business.

Joining at an early stage of the programme, you'll have significant influence over how AI opportunities are assessed, prioritised and taken from initial discovery through to implementation. You'll work closely with traders, sales, operations, risk, technology, product teams, AI Engineers and Data Scientists, acting as the link between complex business requirements and practical AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Senior/Lead Business Analyst with proven experience delivering AI, GenAI or LLM initiatives
  • Strong financial markets experience, ideally within trading, markets technology or a front-office environment
  • Track record taking AI opportunities from discovery through to production
  • Strong understanding of AI/LLM technologies, APIs, data and system integrations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, product and technical teams

This is an initial 6-month engagement within a much larger, multi-year transformation programme. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help establish the organisation's approach to AI and play a key role in shaping how emerging technologies are adopted across its financial markets business.
