The Role

The company is looking for an experienced LegalTech, AI Business Analyst to deliver technology, automation, and AI solutions across the business. In this role, you will combine legalTech consulting, hands-on tool configuration, project management, and transactional support. You’ll work closely with lawyers, clients, technical teams, and suppliers to identify opportunities for automation, implement new solutions, drive adoption, and continuously improve how legal work is delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of legalTech, automation, and AI projects from initial requirements through to implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse business and client needs and recommend practical technology and AI solutions.
  • Configure, test, and launch document automation, workflow automation, and Generative AI tools.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve legal processes, including AI-assisted workflows.
  • Deliver training and support to lawyers and business services teams, driving measurable adoption.
  • Work closely with legal, technical, risk, procurement, and supplier teams to deliver technology initiatives.
  • Support transactional legal teams across the deal lifecycle, including conditions checklists, document management, and closing activities.
  • Maintain legal technology platforms, templates, precedent collections, AI prompt libraries, users, permissions, and environments.
  • Evaluate new legalTech and AI products, supporting procurement, security reviews, supplier management, and technology assessments.
  • Use reporting and business intelligence to monitor adoption, usage, quality, ROI, and delivery performance.

  • Strong experience delivering legalTech, automation, or AI solutions, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Hands-on experience configuring document automation, workflow automation, or Generative AI tools.
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, budget, resource, timeline, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with lawyers and business stakeholders to identify and implement technology improvements.
  • Experience delivering user training and driving adoption of new technology.
  • Good understanding of transactional legal processes, including document management and closing activities.
  • Experience evaluating legalTech or AI platforms and working with technology suppliers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across legal, technical, and business teams.
  • Experience with low-code automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI evaluation, RAG, or AI-assisted legal workflows would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL, APIs, or integration technologies would be a plus.
  • Professional services or regulated industry experience would be advantageous.
