AI Business Transformation Lead (Remote)
Full time, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain
If the Head of AI defines the strategy, this role brings that strategy to life within BCD.
As AI Business Transformation Lead, you will sit at the intersection of business innovation, AI adoption and organizational change. You will identify high-impact opportunities, launch new AI-powered capabilities, and help redesign how work gets done across the enterprise.
This role is ideal for an operationally minded innovator who understands AI's potential and enjoys turning ideas into measurable business outcomes.
The Opportunity
AI is only valuable when it changes how people work.
Your role will be to:
- Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases across business functions (e.g., client services and support, program management, sales and response drafting, spend-report analysis, sales proposal generation, HR/finance process automation)
- Drive AI-driven innovation through a discover, design, develop and deploy model: surface new use cases and business opportunities that go beyond incremental process improvement
- Lead and develop the embedded AI champion network across business units, setting priorities and coaching change management
- Partner with the CoE's Solutions Engineers to scope and pilot new AI-supported workflows, using shared platform tools rather than one-off builds
- Own change management across functions: train colleagues, update SOPs, and track adoption of new AI-assisted workflows
- Engage with enterprise vendors – including ERP, HR, CRM and other SaaS providers to effectively deploy AI capabilities
- Monitor and report productivity and innovation impact (time saved, error reduction, new revenue or business opportunities) to the AI Leadership Council and the CoE
- Act as the voice of the business into the CoE roadmap — ensuring the central platform addresses real operational and commercial needs
- Chair the cross-functional AI champion community of practice (shared training, standards updates, lessons learned)
You will help ensure AI becomes a daily reality for employees, not just a technology initiative.
A Truly Global and Flexible Role
Working across regions, functions and markets, you will collaborate with leaders from operations, sales, finance, people teams, product and technology.
The role is global in scope and fully remote, providing the opportunity to influence business transformation at scale.
A Strategic Success Role
Success means:
- Launching new AI opportunities and initiatives
- Increasing adoption of AI-enabled workflows
- Delivering measurable productivity gains
- Building a thriving community of AI champions
- Accelerating innovation throughout the organization
- Connecting business needs with emerging AI capabilities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
