AI Capability Lead - Revenue Growth Manager

We're looking for an AI Capability Lead - Revenue Growth Manager to join our Empathy Lab team in London, in a hybrid working mode.

This is an opportunity for a commercially-led practice owner to build and scale our AI-enabled RGM (Revenue Growth Management) forecasting and decisioning offering: from GTM strategy through to a live revenue target. This is a builder role, not a delivery or advisory-hours role: you'll shape the offering, run the go-to-market and own the number.

About Empathy Lab

Empathy Lab by EPAM is an AI-native agency built on the belief that the most valuable growth in the AI era comes from pairing human judgment with machine intelligence. We help CMOs, Chief Commercial Officers and senior business leaders convert data and AI into measurable commercial outcomes, not just recommendations.

You'll bring a consultant's instincts - sharp diagnosis, structured advisory, and the executive presence to hold peer-level conversations with senior commercial buyers. But the endpoint of every engagement is scaled technology delivery revenue, not advisory hours. If you're energized by billable strategy work, this isn't the role. If you're energized by turning strategic conversations into signed, delivered technology revenue, it is.

Interested in shaping an offering, running go-to-market and holding a revenue target? We'd love to chat.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial strategy, proposition and go-to-market for our AI-enabled Revenue Growth practice, growing it from a near-standing start towards a significant self-sustaining revenue base
  • Hold the revenue target for the practice and build the pipeline needed to hit it, operating as a true 0-to-1 owner would inside a start-up
  • Proactively shape standalone RGM conversations into broader connected growth opportunities, pulling in Empathy Lab's adjacent capabilities across consumer insights, marketing, commerce and retail media where relevant, positioning RGM as part of a wider orchestrated growth story rather than a self-contained specialism
  • Personally lead pursuit of priority target accounts and equip and direct sales, business development and account management colleagues on how to identify and qualify RGM opportunities
  • Build peer-level relationships with commercial leaders, budget holders and programme sponsors inside client organisations, typically Chief Commercial Officers, Heads of Revenue Growth Management and Trade or Category Marketing Directors
  • Lead early-stage requirements gathering and commercial advisory to shape opportunities, converting consulting-style engagement into technology delivery revenue
  • Act as engagement lead on live programmes, sitting above complex technically-delivered work with a focus on commercial value
  • Partner closely with our Data & Analytics team to codify existing RGM forecasting and decisioning solutions into a packaged sellable offering, including methodology, commercial models and reusable assets
  • Represent the practice internally and externally as a thought leader, building Empathy Lab's credibility and visibility in the RGM space

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a commercial, revenue growth management or category/trade leadership role either client-side within CPG, retail or another consumer-facing sector or within a consultancy or agency serving that market
  • A track record of owning a revenue number and generating it from a standing start; you have built or grown a practice, service line or business unit rather than only operating within an established one
  • Genuine fluency in the substance of Revenue Growth Management (pricing, promotion, trade investment, assortment and mix) sufficient to hold a peer-level conversation with a commercial budget holder, not just a facilitator's grasp of the topic
  • Comfortable engaging with the substance of applied forecasting and decisioning models (for example elasticity, uplift, optimisation) at a level sufficient to represent them credibly to a commercial audience without needing to build them yourself
  • Genuinely motivated by closing and standing behind delivery revenue rather than billable advisory hours; this is a technology delivery practice run with a consultant's rigour not a fee-based strategy function
  • Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills, able to sit across complex technically-led delivery without needing to be the technical expert in the room
  • Commercially literate, comfortable with deal construction, pricing and commercial terms for consulting-enabled delivery engagements
  • Energetic, self-directed operating style, comfortable with ambiguity and building without a playbook balanced with the discipline to work within a large matrixed organisation like EPAM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the presence to lead executive-level conversations and internal thought leadership alike
