- Build the profile and presence of the AI CoE across Sainsbury’s, so colleagues know what it does, what it offers and how to work with it, owning its internal presence from the intranet and knowledge base through to guidance and FAQs.
- Showcase AI success across the business, running a proactive communications and storytelling plan, including events, showcases and success stories, that builds awareness, confidence and appetite for AI at every level, from the shop floor to the Board.
- Diagnose the cultural and behavioural barriers that exist in relation to AI and create change interventions to address them.
- Foster collaboration by building and running an AI community of practice and a network of AI champions, and by running company-wide AI events to share learning across the business.
- Define and track success measures focused on adoption, cultural outcomes and sentiment, using adoption KPIs and simple dashboards to monitor readiness and adjust change activity where needed.
- Ensure plans are value-driven, driving KPIs on outputs, impacts and benefits to provide tangible, measurable outcomes, and manage these throughout the change management process.
- Produce high-quality change materials, including presentations, training material and written communications.
- Support responsible and safe AI adoption, working closely with AI Governance and Assurance so that change and compliance stay aligned.
- Provide challenge, guidance and support to senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business as a Business Change subject-matter expert, influencing at all levels on AI strategy and deliverables.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
