Job Title: AI Coach

Department: Operations

Location: Head Office: Pioneer House, Morton Park, Darlington (Hybrid available after probation)

DBS Check: Required

Salary: £36,050 - £41,200 per annum

Bonus: Cohort Success & Progression Bonuses

The Role

As an AI Coach, you’ll use your industry knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship programmes to guide learners personally and professionally. You will motivate and influence your caseload of apprentices, helping them achieve their full potential through workshops, training, and one-to-one support.

Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations

  • Manage a caseload of up to 42 learners, supporting skills, knowledge, and behaviours development
  • Facilitate technical workshops and personal development microteaches
  • Evaluate and maintain high-quality programme standards; ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with learners, employers, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain training plans, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to programme improvement and learner engagement

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, PCET, AET) or experience in digital/apprenticeship sector
  • Proven experience delivering AI, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation programmes
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and provide constructive feedback
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Flexible, resilient, and logical in problem-solving
  • Confident using IT systems and databases

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Degree or apprenticeship qualified in IT, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of AI, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, and apprenticeship standards
  • Certifications: Change Management, Power Platform, or AI qualifications
  • Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), coding, or digital transformation tools
  • Understanding of compliance, ESG, or technical frameworks is a plus
