Our client, an established financial markets technology firm, is looking for a technically strong Business Analyst to join its Product and Engineering function, with a focus on AI, automation, and agentic solutions.
You will work hands-on with AI technologies to identify use cases, design solutions, and help build and deploy AI agents into live software platforms.
The Role
- Identify opportunities to use AI agents, GenAI, and automation to solve business and operational problems.
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled workflows and agentic solutions using technologies such as LLMs, RAG, LangGraph/LangChain, and APIs.
- Analyze complex workflows, data, and processes, and translate problems into clear technical solutions.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering throughout design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Help build a dedicated AI agent capability alongside the existing software team.

What We're Looking For
- Approximately 3–7 years' experience within technology consulting, software delivery, AI, or a similarly technical environment.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents or GenAI solutions.
- Practical knowledge of agentic AI, RAG, LLMs, APIs, and automation, ideally including LangGraph or LangChain.
- Strong understanding of software development, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working directly with software engineers and getting hands-on throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- A technology consulting background is highly advantageous; financial services or FinTech experience is beneficial but not essential.

Job title is less important than technical capability. We are open to candidates from Technical BA, AI/GenAI Consulting, Technology Consulting, Solutions, or AI/Automation Engineering backgrounds where there is clear evidence of hands-on delivery.
This is an opportunity to join a specialist financial markets technology business as it builds out its dedicated AI capability, with direct responsibility for turning AI use cases into production solutions.
