Position: AI Copilot Developer

Location: London

Contract: 6 Months Initially

Pay: £490 Umbrella/day

Company Overview

A company is hiring for an AI Copilot Developer AVP position. This role sits within a development function focused on creating and supporting business applications using Microsoft technologies, low-code platforms, and AI-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to design, build, and enhance innovative business solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Build and maintain intelligent agents, conversational AI experiences, and automated business processes.
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms and business applications, including data and reporting technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities for automation and AI, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Apply best practices in security, governance, compliance, and Responsible AI to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
  • Support solution architecture, documentation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through AI, automation, low-code technologies, technical support, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Power Apps development, including Canvas and/or Model-driven applications.
  • Familiarity with integrating Power Apps solutions with Azure services.
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse architecture, data modelling, security roles, business rules, and governance.
  • Knowledge of AI tools, Copilot technologies, and AI governance principles.
  • Proven experience developing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience contributing to end-to-end Power Platform projects from design through deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, React, and PCF Controls.
  • Proven experience building, configuring, testing, and deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio agents.
  • Ability to analyse designs and code critically and provide constructive feedback.
  • Quality-focused, self-motivated, and collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
  • Additional experience with Power BI, API integration, Azure services, SQL/Oracle databases, CI/CD practices, advanced AI agents, C#/.NET, unit testing, automation tools, or other low-code platforms would be advantageous.
