Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Copilot Engineer / AI Generalist to join a large-scale digital transformation programme, helping to design, build and scale enterprise AI capabilities across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on AI professional with strong experience across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Azure AI Services and Microsoft Copilot technologies. You'll play a key role in delivering production-grade AI solutions, driving AI adoption and establishing secure, governed and responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions capable of autonomous task execution across business processes.
- Build and deploy RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) solutions using enterprise data sources.
- Develop multi-agent architectures, orchestration frameworks, tool-calling patterns and memory-based workflows.
- Deliver AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search and Azure AI Services.
- Configure and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications and platforms.
- Establish AI monitoring, telemetry and observability standards.
- Define governance controls, guardrails and Responsible AI frameworks.
- Support AI platform engineering, deployment pipelines and operational readiness activities.
- Collaborate with technology, data and security teams to scale AI capabilities across the business.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering enterprise AI solutions in production environments.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures.
- Hands-on experience building RAG solutions and AI-powered workflow automation.
- Experience with tool calling, orchestration frameworks and AI agent development.
- Strong experience with Azure OpenAI and wider Azure AI services.
- Solid Python development skills.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search and prompt engineering.
- Experience implementing AI monitoring, observability and operational support processes.
- Understanding of AI governance, security and Responsible AI principles.
