AI & Cybersecurity Engineer | Applied AI Security | R&D

An innovative technology team is looking for a highly technical engineer to work at the intersection of AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity, helping explore and solve emerging challenges created by the rapid adoption of intelligent technologies.

You’ll work on technically challenging problems across AI and security, investigating potential vulnerabilities, developing new approaches, and turning ideas into practical solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to projects from early exploration through to implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate emerging security challenges across AI and machine learning
  • Explore vulnerabilities, threats, and potential attack scenarios
  • Develop and evaluate approaches to improve the security and resilience of AI systems
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to test new ideas
  • Apply machine learning and software engineering techniques to security problems
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and technical stakeholders to develop practical solutions
  • Contribute to technical thinking around the future of AI security

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong software engineering and machine learning fundamentals
  • Commercial, academic, or research experience with AI/ML
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, or attack techniques
  • Experience developing technical prototypes or proof-of-concepts
  • Strong Python or equivalent programming experience
  • Ability to investigate unfamiliar technical problems and develop creative solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
