📍 Remote (UK) with occasional travel
💰 £40,000 - £60,000 DOE

The Opportunity

I'm currently supporting a well-established, Ofsted-rated 'Good' national training provider that is expanding its AI and Data provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AI & Data professional with apprenticeship delivery experience to combine training, coaching and mentoring responsibilities, helping learners develop the skills needed to excel in today's data-driven workplace.

The Role

As an AI & Data Apprenticeship Trainer / Coach, you'll deliver engaging workshops and technical training sessions while managing a caseload of apprentices throughout their programme journey.

You'll support learners through:

  • Data Analyst, Data Technician and AI-related apprenticeship programmes
  • Progress reviews and action planning
  • Portfolio development and evidence gathering
  • Workplace application of learning
  • Gateway and End Point Assessment preparation
  • Ongoing coaching, mentoring and learner support

You'll also contribute to curriculum development and ensure programmes remain aligned with employer needs and industry developments.

About You

Essential

  • Experience delivering and coaching learners within apprenticeship programmes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics, AI, Automation and Digital Technologies
  • Experience managing learner caseloads and conducting progress reviews.
  • Understanding of apprenticeship standards, funding and EPA processes.
  • Experience using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python or similar.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering Data Analyst, Data Technician or AI-related apprenticeship standards.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and apprenticeship funding rules.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Teaching, Training or Assessing qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, CAVA, TAQA or A1) is highly desirable
  • Degree-level qualification (or above) in Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related discipline highly desirable
