As an AI & Data Science Specialist within our Tech Advisory Practice, you’ll help clients solve complex challenges by combining data science expertise with emerging AI technologies. You’ll shape strategies, develop responsible and scalable solutions, and take ideas from experimentation through to real-world impact. Working with clients and multidisciplinary CGI teams, you’ll have the freedom to explore creative approaches, take ownership of meaningful engagements and build trusted relationships. Supported by an open community of experts and opportunities to develop your capabilities, you’ll help grow CGI’s AI expertise while delivering solutions that improve decision-making, customer experiences and operational performance.

We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Candidate Profile

In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand their challenges, identify where AI and data science can create meaningful value, and translate those opportunities into practical strategies and solutions. You’ll take ownership of engagements from discovery and experimentation through to deployment and optimisation, combining strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
