This is an opportunity to take ownership of a genuine greenfield AI project within an established software company.
They’re looking for an AI Deployment Engineer to explore how Generative AI can completely modernise the way technical and product documentation is created, managed and maintained.
There isn't an existing AI solution you're being brought in to maintain.
You'll help shape it.
The opportunity
The business develops a complex software platform used within manufacturing environments, and they see a major opportunity to use AI to improve how information about that product is turned into documentation for customers.
You'll be given the autonomy to:
- Explore and assess different AI and documentation tools
- Recommend which technologies and approaches the business should adopt
- Introduce Generative AI into existing documentation processes
- Identify opportunities for automation
- Create documentation around new software features
- Turn complex technical information into clear customer-facing content
- Help establish a smarter, more scalable approach to documentation

Who are they looking for?
You don't need to be an AI researcher or someone who's spent years training machine-learning models.
They're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of software, documentation and AI.
You could come from a Technical Author, Technical Writer, software development or similar technical background.
What's important is that you:
- Understand software and technical concepts
- Have experience creating clear technical/product documentation
- Have a genuine practical interest in Generative AI
- Can see opportunities to use AI and automation to improve processes
- Are comfortable researching and recommending new tools
- Can translate complicated technical information into something customers can easily understand
- Are confident working independently and taking ownership

Experience introducing AI tools or automation into a business would be a big advantage.
