AI Deployment Lead
Are you passionate about turning AI innovation into real-world business value? Do you thrive on driving the deployment, adoption, and successful use of AI tools across business functions?
Here at GXO, we’re looking for an AI Deployment Lead to execute the rollout and adoption of enterprise and corporate-facing AI tools across GXO’s office-based and functional environments. This role focuses on deployment execution, user enablement, training, and change management to ensure AI tools are adopted effectively and deliver measurable business value.
This is a full-time permanent position, offering remote working with occasional travel to our head-office in Northampton. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. However, some flexibility is required, as you will be working with various time-zones.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £57,120 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the successful deployment of AI tools across the business, managing the journey from readiness assessments and implementation through to go-live, user adoption, and ongoing support
- Partner with AI, IT, Security, Change, and Business teams to coordinate deployment activities, manage dependencies, and ensure a seamless rollout experience.
- Drive user enablement and adoption, creating engaging training programmes, guidance materials, and communication plans tailored to different functions and user groups.
- Champion change management and continuous improvement, helping colleagues embrace AI-powered ways of working while identifying opportunities to enhance deployment and adoption approaches.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in deployment, implementation, technical project management, or digital enablement roles, delivering technology solutions that drive business value.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise or SaaS platforms, with exposure to AI, analytics, automation, or digital transformation initiatives highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of change management, training, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of successfully embedding new technologies into business operations.
- Experience working across multiple business functions, partnering with teams such as IT, HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Operations to deliver successful outcomes.
