Horsham

Creative Assembly / SEGA is recruiting for the role of AI Designer. An AI Designer is sought to design, set up and balance game AI features and behaviours, with difficulty balancing on the turn-based campaign side. The role works closely with AI Programmers, AI Designers and Game Designers to support engaging gameplay and the game’s vision.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement game AI and other game features with other departments to support the gameplay experience.
  • Help develop game AI proactively and creatively while keeping in touch with relevant stakeholders.
  • Document designs and show how they will create gameplay and meaningful choices.
  • Evaluate and fine-tune AI behaviour using in-house tools.
  • Build a holistic view of the game and balance its difficulty level.
