We are looking for an experienced AI Developer to join Finalto’s AI Innovation team and help build the automation layer that transforms how we work.
You will design and deliver AI-powered workflows that replace manual processes across the business, enabling faster execution, lower costs, and new capabilities. This is a high-ownership role with real visibility and impact. You will take solutions from concept to production in weeks rather than months. You will also work directly with teams across the organisation to understand their challenges, co-design practical solutions, and help raise AI fluency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered workflows that remove friction and improve efficiency across the business, including solutions for document processing, bank statement parsing, and news summarisation.
- Develop LLM-based applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning where it delivers measurable improvements.
- Manage AI infrastructure and tool integrations, including API gateways, Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and external services, with appropriate governance and access controls.
- Design data pipelines and system architecture to support AI workflows at scale, working with databases and vector search solutions.
- Gather requirements, understand operational pain points, and co-design solutions with business teams, translating business problems into technical implementations.
- Deploy solutions within enterprise environments such as Azure, AWS, and Databricks, with occasional responsibility for monitoring, iteration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain code quality through testing, version control, and CI/CD practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
