Graded Films is looking for an ambitious AI Marketing Apprentice
Graded Films is looking for an ambitious AI Marketing Apprentice to join our growing team and play an active role in shaping the future of our business.
Working across every part of the business, you'll use AI alongside traditional marketing techniques to help us attract new clients, strengthen our brand and improve marketing activity.
What you'll do at work
You will also play an important role in helping shape our public identity as Graded continues its transition into a broader production company working across commercials, television and feature films.
Key Responsibilities
AI Marketing & Business Growth
- Research and explore emerging AI tools that can improve marketing, business development and creative workflows.
- Use AI to support audience research, market analysis and competitor insights.
- Help develop intelligent marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Assist with AI-powered prospect research and personalised client outreach.
- Explore marketing automation opportunities that improve efficiency across the business.
- Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
- Support lead generation and business development initiatives through intelligent use of AI.
Brand & Content
- Manage Graded's digital presence across LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate social media campaigns.
- Write engaging copy using both traditional writing skills and AI-assisted workflows.
- Create or coordinate digital marketing assets including graphics, photography and short-form video.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all communications.
- Assist with website updates, SEO improvements and content optimisation.
- Support the creation of newsletters, case studies and marketing collateral.
Company Development
- Support the ongoing Graded rebrand across website, social media and marketing materials.
- Help develop and maintain brand guidelines.
- Work closely with senior team members to develop marketing strategies that support long-term business growth.
- Contribute fresh ideas that help shape the future direction of the company.
- Take ownership of marketing projects and confidently manage your own workload.
Production Support
- Join productions where appropriate to capture behind-the-scenes content.
- Work alongside production teams to identify marketing opportunities during shoots.
- Assist with creating award submissions, project write-ups and portfolio content.
- Help communicate the creative process behind our work through engaging storytelling.
Essential Skills
- A strong understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Confidence using Canva, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence learning new software independently.
- An interest in marketing analytics and audience insights.
- A passion for film, television or creative production.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and continually develop your skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar.
- An understanding of prompt engineering or AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic website editing experience.
- Photography or videography skills.
- An understanding of SEO and website optimisation.
- Experience using CRM systems or an interest in sales and business development.

- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.

Delivered through 1 day per month of classroom training, plus 1:1 coaching, workplace projects, and self-study, allowing learners to apply their skills directly within your business.
Outcome:
By the end of the programme, employees achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification, build a portfolio of real campaigns, gain industry certifications, and become confident AI-enabled digital marketers capable of delivering measurable business results.

About Graded Films
Graded Films is an independent and award-winning film and video production company based in Arundel, West Sussex.
Our work spans commercial campaigns, branded content and video for the arts. Alongside this, we're investing heavily in scripted television and feature film development, with multiple projects currently in active production development.
