Who are we?

Tom&Co is an e-commerce agency that has gone AI-first. We design, build and grow online stores for brands like Topps Tiles, Oliver Bonas and Agent Provocateur, plus many more across Fashion, Homeware, Luxury, Gifting, Outdoors, Food and Charity.

We’ve rebuilt the way we work around AI, and Claude is at the centre of it. Our team works across a fully integrated Claude setup – Claude Code for building, Cowork for research, documentation and delivery, shared skills that capture how we work, and MCP connectors that plug Claude into the tools we and our clients use every day. It’s how we scope, design, build, test and support everything we deliver. We think it’s the most interesting time to be in this industry, and we’re looking for people who feel the same.

The role

We’re looking for an AI Solutions Architect to take responsibility for delivering our e-commerce builds – from the first discovery session through architecture, build and launch – and to lead our retainer clients afterwards.

You’ll be the person our clients trust. You’ll sit down with them, get to the bottom of what they actually need, shape the right solution and then make it happen – building the simpler pieces yourself with Claude. For the bigger and more complex work, you’ll have a full team behind you – project managers, designers, QA and AI-enabled developers. You’ll own the outcome – the solution, the timeline and the quality of what goes live – with the directors on hand to back you up.

This is a new kind of role and we are very excited about introducing it. If you’re a developer who enjoys talking to clients, a technical BA who has started building things, or a solutions consultant who wants to get hands-on again, we’d love to hear from you. There’s plenty of room to grow.

Why this role is different

  • Empowered but not on your own. With Claude doing a lot of the heavy lifting, you can get far more done yourself – and when the work gets bigger or more complex, you’ve got a project manager, designers, QA and developers right behind you.
  • The full Claude toolkit. You’ll work with Claude Code, Cowork, skills, connectors and agents every day – not as a side experiment, but as the way we deliver.
  • Real ownership. You’ll own full e-commerce builds from the first conversation to go-live and beyond, with the freedom to decide how they get done.
  • Permission to experiment. New Claude features and models arrive all the time. We want you to try them, find what works and turn it into the way we all work.
  • A seat at the table. You’ll work closely with the directors and help shape how an AI-first agency actually runs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you’ll do

  • Take responsibility for delivering full e-commerce builds and replatforms – scope, architecture, timeline, quality and launch - many of them on the latest and greatest Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service platform
  • Own the client relationship on your projects: run discovery sessions, workshops and regular check-ins, and be the go-to person for anything technical
  • Turn business problems into clear requirements, solution designs and well-scoped pieces of work
  • Architect solutions across Adobe Commerce (Magento) and the wider stack, including PIM, ERP, search, payments and CDP integrations, and help make the key technical decisions
  • Build simpler solutions yourself with Claude Code – prototypes, automations, integrations, small features and fixes
  • Work closely with our project managers, designers, QA and AI-enabled developers on bigger and more complex pieces of work: shape the solution, brief it clearly, review what comes back and make sure it’s right before it reaches the client
  • Use the wider Claude ecosystem across delivery – Cowork for discovery, specs and documentation, MCP connectors into tools like Jira, Figma and Google Workspace, and agents for testing, QA and reviews
  • Identify where AI can help our clients’ wider business – from catalogue and content work to customer service and reporting – and scope those ideas into projects
  • Help shape how we work by building and improving our Claude skills, plugins and reusable workflows, and sharing what you learn with the team

Who you are

  • You have a technical background – you might be an ex-developer, solutions architect, technical BA or technical project lead
  • You’re confident talking to clients, from marketing teams to CTOs, and can translate between business and technical language
  • You’ve worked on e-commerce builds or replatforms and are ready to own one from discovery to launch; Magento 2/Adobe Commerce experience is highly desirable, but similar platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopware) are great too
  • You understand how systems talk to each other and are comfortable with REST, GraphQL and SOAP APIs
  • You use AI tools seriously, day to day – hands-on experience with Claude and Claude Code is a big plus, and you’re keen to go deep on skills, MCP connectors, subagents and the Claude Agent SDK
  • Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make or Windmill is a bonus
  • You write clear briefs, specs and acceptance criteria that a developer – human or AI – can pick up and run with
  • You’re comfortable owning timelines and priorities, and stay organised and calm when juggling several clients at once
  • You care about quality and enjoy helping others do their best work
  • You’re curious, learn quickly and find the pace of change in AI exciting rather than daunting
  • You have excellent written and spoken English
