Help us Build our AI Enablement Team

We're not just hiring — we're inviting you to build the future. If you're curious, driven, and ready to leave your mark, this is your invitation to explore an AI role with us.

The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that plays a vital role in UK financial services. Every day we help resolve disputes between consumers, or small businesses, and their financial service providers.

Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a technology project for us. It is becoming a fundamental part of how our organisation operates, serves our customers, develops our colleagues and delivers strategic impact.

As we accelerate our AI ambitions, we are expanding our organisational AI capability, and we are looking for exceptional people to join us.

This is not a traditional recruitment campaign.

We are not starting with a fixed organisational design, a list of pre-defined roles, or assumptions about where the best talent sits. Instead, we are looking for individuals who can help us unlock and embed the full potential of AI across our organisation.

So, whether your expertise is in AI strategy, delivery, transformation, governance, technology, learning, communications, change management, operations, process improvement or adoption, we want to hear from you.

What We're Building:

We are creating a multidisciplinary AI Enablement Team focused on turning organisational needs and AI opportunities into practical solutions, measurable benefits and sustainable ways of working.

The ambition is to:

  • Shape and execute our AI strategy.
  • Develop and deliver an AI roadmap that creates measurable outcomes.
  • Extract value from licenced and ‘off the shelf’ AI tools.
  • Improve operational processes and ways of working.
  • Increase organisational AI fluency and confidence.
  • Support colleagues to adopt AI safely and effectively.
  • Transform services through smarter systems and automation.
  • Ensure responsible, ethical and governed use of AI.
  • Identify, develop and scale high-value AI use cases.
  • Build organisational capability that enables continuous innovation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
