About Optasia

Optasia is a real-time financial intelligence company. We build precision intelligence that unlocks financial opportunity at scale, running millions of automated credit decisions every day across high-growth markets where formal credit data is limited. Our AI-powered platform turns permitted behavioural data and real-time signals into precise, responsible credit decisions. Embedded within the systems of telcos, banks, digital wallets and other partners, it helps them extend relevant financial services to more people while maintaining strong portfolio control and opens profitable new segments that were previously out of reach. This is how Optasia turns potential into financial progress, responsibly and at scale.

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Enablement & Adoption Lead to drive Optasia's company-wide AI learning and adoption strategy.

This is a hands-on role within the People team, responsible for building AI capability across the organization — from designing and delivering training programs, growing a network of capable AI Champions, to driving engagement and helping employees use AI to improve the way they work.

The ideal candidate is both a strong facilitator and an accomplished AI practitioner, someone who actively experiments with tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot and can translate new AI capabilities into practical, relevant applications for employees.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own Optasia's AI enablement strategy, including the roadmap, learning journeys and adoption initiatives across the organization.
  • Design and deliver a company-wide AI curriculum, from AI fundamentals and prompting, advanced use cases, productivity workflows and responsible AI. Lead cohort-based sessions to upskill the workforce in generative AI and tech adoption.
  • Deliver tailored feedback and developmental coaching that AI cannot replicate - through 1:1 sessions, hands-on workshops, training sessions, demos and office hours to build employee confidence and practical AI skills.
  • Develop an AI Champions network across functions, creating a community of employees who can support and accelerate AI adoption within their teams.
  • Teach employees how to identify AI opportunities and build practical AI solutions, including assistants, workflows and agents using tools such as Claude and Copilot.
  • Partner with teams across Optasia to identify high-value AI use cases and support the adoption of AI in everyday workflows.
  • Own the internal AI communications and engagement plan, including campaigns, newsletters, events, success stories and practical AI resources.
  • Build and maintain a self-service AI learning hub, including curriculum content, employee how to guides, playbooks, prompts, use cases and other learning materials.
  • Measure AI adoption and impact, tracking participation, capability, usage and business value, and using insights to continuously improve the program.
  • Partner with IT, Security and other stakeholders to promote responsible and secure use of AI and ensure employees understand relevant policies and guidelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
